EXHAUSTION CYCLE
Countless individuals feel they're stuck on the hamster wheel of life's challenges, wearily repeating the same routine with little relief in sight. Instead of opting for the classic metal rodent cage and wheel, I contorted a gritty, uprooted sidewalk into the shape of an endless loop to represent how it's the drab, everyday routine that pulls us from our passions. The cold, hard pavement is such a stark reminder of the dull, lifeless, boring, expected path we take not by choice, but by helpless surrender to the grind. The person is stuck on this eternally exhausting road before them. Still striving ahead in a faux-confident posture, yet going nowhere.
PRELIMINARY SKETCHES & ART DIRECTION
Some of the early preliminary Sketches I created to effectively communicate concepts with the client and to further direct and orient crew on shoot day.
