This mural was easily one of my favorite projects. First, working with an archway as a canvas proved an enjoyable challenge. The mural was meant to be a kind of homage to Central Oregon’s beauty filled high desert. I chose many of the regions most notable and enjoyed sights and developed a style that would feel like the hand painted terracotta that would immediately convey a high desert feel.
