Riffing off the idea of Monogamy as a kind of biosphere or a secure and private ecosystem for two individuals, I kept thinking of a literal bubble surrounding the subjects and their environment. Each individual inhabits their own bubble until connected to the others forming a single and unified sphere. The bubble also emphasizes the delicacy of this sort of relationship where trust is at times as delicate as the walls of a bubble.
